A second family photo session at Tom Bennett in East Bradenton

After the first session at Tom Bennett, I was so excited to bring another family back. This lovely mom, son, and step-dad trio is celebrating the summer before their son enters med school at the University of Oklahoma in the fall.

This was a mini session, which is just 20 minutes, so I picked a spot that I thought we could capture a lot of shots with good light and quickly. Also, 20 minutes is about all any sane person wants to spend in the hot and humid swamp that is Florida this time of year. Seriously, when did it get so hot and why so quickly??! I mean, yay, summer!

Little did I know, there were a lot of red ant piles where we set up, but luckily, I seemed to be the only one being eaten alive. I'm grateful for that, because I'd hate to ruin my clients evening that way. My bites are still healing two weeks later, but it was totally worth it. These shots turned out awesome and I really love the creamy background my new lens gives. The sun going down and the gorgeous flares we were getting. So dreamy.

Here are some of my favorites from this session. If you're curious about booking your own mini session to commemorate the summer time, check out my pricing page. :)

Thanks for taking a look!
